Import Duties & International Shipping Policy
U.S. Orders Shipped from South Africa
We proudly ship select products directly from South Africa to customers in the United States.
Because these orders are international shipments, your package may be subject to import duties, tariffs, customs fees, taxes, or other charges imposed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection or your local authorities.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost shown at checkout.
Who Pays Import Duties and Tariffs?
The customer is solely responsible for paying any import-related fees, including but not limited to:
- Import duties
- Tariffs
- Customs clearance fees
- VAT or sales tax assessed by customs
- Brokerage or handling fees charged by the carrier
These fees are determined by U.S. customs regulations and are outside of our control.
How the Process Works
- You place your order through our website.
- Your order ships from South Africa to the United States.
- The shipment passes through U.S. customs inspection.
- If duties or tariffs apply, the shipping carrier (such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, or USPS) may contact you for payment before delivery.
- Once any required fees are paid, your package will be released for final delivery.
How Much Will I Have to Pay?
Import charges vary depending on:
- The product type
- The declared value of the shipment
- Current U.S. tariff regulations
- Your state or local tax requirements
Unfortunately, we cannot estimate or guarantee the exact amount you may be charged.
We recommend checking with U.S. Customs or your local customs office if you would like more information before placing an order.
Refused Shipments
If a customer refuses to pay customs duties or import fees and the shipment is returned to us, we reserve the right to deduct:
- Original shipping costs
- Return shipping costs
- Customs processing fees
- Any additional carrier charges
from any eligible refund.
Delivery Delays
International shipments may occasionally experience delays due to customs processing. While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or import procedures.
